Why did you become a marriage counselor? I had a torn family growing up and had to adjust to a blended family as well. It was always hard for me, being the communicator through these ended relationships and adjusting. I knew I wanted to help people in their relationships but also wanted to help people who cannot reconcile with communicating and keeping the children as a priority.

Are you married? No, I am not married but have been engaged for 3 years. We have been together for 9 years. We are still learning everyday on how to communicate and getting better everyday. I also have a step daughter and understand the struggles of blended families well.

What is your favorite TV show? Yellowstone has been a favorite, waiting on the new season. Sweet Magnolias is also a favorite and any psychology movie or documentary.

What do you do when you are not counseling? When I'm not a counselor, I am a stepmother, a wife, a dog mom, and a friend and daughter. I am very family oriented and we tend to fill our weekends with family and friends. I also love coffee and reading in my spare time.

Favorite holiday? Definitely Christmas, this is the time I see extended family the most and eat the most amazing food!

Favorite season? Fall, the weather is nice and cool but not too cold and the scenery makes me smile. I also love Halloween and my birthday is around there too!

Something most people don't know? Most people don't know I am adopted and I'm an old lady at heart and love to crochet.

Favorite quote? (Cinderella story) "Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game"
